Terms of Service

Short version: quotes are free, sod is cut for your order, and you can cancel until we cut it.

Quotes

Quotes are free and hold for 14 days. A quote is based on what you tell us about the yard. If the square footage, the grade, or the amount of old turf turns out to be different when we get there, we tell you before we start, not after.

What things cost

Sod is priced per pallet, and one pallet covers 450 square feet. Per-pallet prices for every variety are published on our sod page. Delivery is quoted by address. Installation is quoted by square footage. Lawn prep, which is stripping old turf, grading, and topsoil, is quoted separately when the yard needs it. There are no fuel surcharges or add-ons that appear later.

Ordering, delivery, and cancellation

Sod is cut to order at a North Texas farm, so nothing is cut until you confirm. Delivery runs about 48 hours from order to driveway, weather permitting. Rain and heat at the farm can push a cut by a day, and we tell you as soon as we know. Delivery windows are confirmed at booking.

You can cancel or reschedule at no charge up until the sod is cut for your order, usually the Wednesday of that week. Once it is cut it is yours, though we can hold delivery a day in cool weather.

Payment

We never take card numbers over chat or over the phone. After you request an order, a person confirms the details and sends a secure payment link or an invoice.

Fresh sod is perishable

Install sod within 24 hours of delivery. In summer heat, keep the stack shaded and damp. Sod that sits stacked on a pallet in warm weather yellows from the middle out, and that is outside what we can cover.

The guarantee

What we cover, what we do not, and how to make a claim is set out in full on our warranty page. In short: sod that arrives damaged gets replaced, and sod our crew installed that has not rooted in 30 days gets replaced, provided the watering schedule was followed.
