Count on 48 hours from order to driveway. Sod is cut to order: we schedule the cut when you order, the farm cuts at first light, and it’s on your driveway the next day or the day after. Rain can push a cut back a day or two, and we text you the moment we know. Order by Wednesday for the weekend.

Bermuda for full sun and heavy traffic, St. Augustine for shade under mature trees, Zoysia for a soft, premium lawn in mixed light. Mixed-light yards often get two: Bermuda on the sunny side and St. Augustine under the trees.

If your subsoil is compacted clay or new-construction fill, yes. An inch of topsoil across the lawn is about one cubic yard per 324 square feet. Sod laid on prepped soil roots in 10 to 14 days; sod laid on clay can take a month.

2,500 to 3,000 pounds wet. A half-ton pickup handles one, a three-quarter-ton handles two. Past two pallets, take delivery.
